Evolution Studios is the result of two smaller companies, Toydrum Hosting, a web hosting company started by Ryan Courtade, and Evolution Consulting, a web development and marketing company started by Carlos Moreno, needing to provide additional services to their clients. Growing from a single developer to 10+ developers and a hosting staff of over 15 people working around the clock, Evolution Studios is rapidly growing to become a preferred Multimedia Development company in both Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cincinnati, Ohio. Specializing not only in web development, Evolution Studios is also able to provide help in print design, magazine layouts, radio and television advertising, as well as branding and image development. We enjoy challenges and work very hard to make sure each new challenge is handled with attention, detail, and the speed to accomplish all of our projects on time.
Carlos Moreno, President / Marketing Officer
Carlos Moreno majored in biopsychology at San Jose State University in California. In addition, he pursued a broad field of study, including anthropology, chemistry, philosophy, Latin and nonlinear physics. It was technology, its uses and benefits which drove him to pursue a knowledge and career in interaction design. Since 1996, Carlos has designed, developed, and been project manager for many websites and web-based applications. As the president of Evolution Studios, he keeps the group grounded in a scientific approach and ensures the creation of quantifiable results for clients with each project.
Ryan Courtade, Vice-President / Operations Officer
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ryan Courtade is involved in the day to day operations of Evolution Studios. From finances to project manager, Ryan interacts on a daily basis with all of our clients to ensure their satisfaction and that projects are being completed at the timeline specified.
Currently enrolled at South University, Ryan is working towards a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration. Finding very little free time between working and going to school, Ryan enjoys relaxing with his Fiance and two cats watching a summer blockbuster.
Sherry Myrow, Programmer / Quality Assurance
Sherry Myrow has been in the web development industry since 1999 in various roles including developer, QA tester, QA analyst, test lab manager, project coordinator, project manager, marketing coordinator, marketing rep and QA lead.Sherry earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2006 and since then has worked actively using various web programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, Java, OOP, Perl, XML and techniques such as Extreme Programming and Agile Development. She has extensive experience with the setup and administration of phpBB boards, managing IRC chatrooms and has most recently delved into the world of Wordpress setup and customization.
Cody O’Dell, Programmer
Carl Cody “codester” O’Dell is a self-taught LAMP developer, graphic artist and Photographer. Cody has been part of many e-commerce projects, non-profit organizations and small business ventures since the age of 15. Currently, he lives in Tulsa, OK with his girlfriend.
Peter Di Sessa, Programmer
Peter Di Sessa graduated from Virginia Tech in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. While in college, Peter focused his studies on web programming, 3D graphics programming, and cryptography. He has been developing web applications since 2003 using PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS. He is proficient in Linux administration, the Subversion version control system, and building computers. Over the past several years, he has coauthored several papers pertaining to the use of virtual reality/environments for medical diagnoses. Peter enjoys learning new technologies and programming languages, in addition to playing video games. He currently lives in Lexington, KY with his wife and two cats.
